The website is hosted on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) at Contabo. The data center is located in Germany (EU). When you visit our website, the server automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable presentation). We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the host.

Contact form
When you submit inquiries via the contact form, we store your details for processing and for follow-up questions. This data is only shared with your consent.
To transmit the form data we use the service Web3Forms (operator: Web3Forms, India). Web3Forms forwards the form data to us by email and does not store it permanently. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS).

5. Analytics tools
Currently no analytics tools are used on this website. No usage data is transmitted to third parties.
6. Plugins and tools
Google Fonts (hosted locally)
This site uses the Montserrat font, which is installed locally. No connection to Google servers or third parties is made.
Contact form (Web3Forms)
To process the contact form we use the service Web3Forms (operator: Web3Forms). When you submit the contact form, your details (name, email, company, phone, message) are forwarded to our email address via the Web3Forms API.
Server location: USA (US-East region).
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures)
or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing inquiries).
Storage period: Entries are stored at Web3Forms for a
maximum of 30 days and then deleted. Forwarding to our email address takes
place immediately.
Note: When using the contact form, data is transferred to the USA. Web3Forms states that it does not pass on personal data to third parties. The transfer to a third country takes place on the basis of Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR (your explicit consent by submitting the form) or Art. 49 (1) (b) GDPR (contract performance). We plan to switch form processing to an EU-based service in the future in order to avoid transferring data to third countries.
